Pay Over Time with Klarna

TAG Heuer has partnered with Klarna to offer interest-free installments when making an eligible purchase. With the Klarna Pay Over Time payment plan, you can spread your payment over 6 or 12 installments. Please note that there is a minimum spend of USD 1,000 and a maximum spend of USD 10,000 in order to use Klarna’s payment method. Am I eligible?

To be eligible for Klarna Pay Over Time payment method you must be at least 18 years old, a US resident, and you will be requested to provide the following information if you do not have an account with Klarna:


  • Name and last name
  • Email address
  • Home Address
  • Phone number
  • Last four digits SSN
  • Date of birth


 Your application approval is subject to Klarna’s review of your financial circumstances and a full credit search in their sole discretion. To improve your applications chances of success, make sure you enter full and accurate personal details.

Who is Klarna?

Klarna was founded in 2005 in Stockholm, Sweden with the aim of making it easier for people to shop online. Klarna is a leading global payments and shopping service company providing payment solutions for 90 million consumers across over 250,000 merchants in 20 countries.

How do I place an order using Pay Over Time with Klarna?

For a purchase on TAG Heuer website:


Purchasing with Klarna Pay Over Time is simple. Add the product you wish to purchase to your cart and proceed to checkout as normal. If your purchase is eligible, you will be able to select the “Pay Over Time with Klarna” as a payment method. This will start your application with Klarna. From this stage, you will be redirected to a Klarna-hosted payment page to complete the purchase.


Klarna will ask you to provide some basic details to check your identity and your eligibility. If you’re approved by Klarna, your payment plan will be created, and your order with TAG Heuer will be automatically placed. Once the payment process is complete, you’ll be redirected back to the TAG Heuer website.


Depending on Klarna’s assessment of the transaction, you may be requested to pay a deposit.

 

For a purchase in a TAG Heuer boutique:



1 - The boutique staff will collect your personal information and your preferred contact method (email, WhatsApp, or text), then they will send you a payment link—via your preferred contact method.

2- By clicking on the payment link, you will access the list of available payment methods and you may select Pay Over time from Klarna.


3 - Then, you will be redirected to the Klarna Financing application and will be asked to provide basic details to check your eligibility. If your application is approved, you will only have to confirm your purchase. Depending on Klarna’s assessment of the transaction, you may be requested to pay a deposit.


4 - Once you have confirmed your purchase and paid any potential deposit, then, the boutique staff will close the transaction and will deliver you the associated invoice and the purchased product(s).

What details do I need to provide when I make my purchase with Pay Over Time with Klarna?

You will need to provide the following information:

  • Name and last name
  • Email address
  • Home Address
  • Phone number
  • Last four digits SSN
  • Date of birth

    

Please ensure that the information that you are providing is accurate and that each field in the checkout contains the right information (i.e., street address in the address field). Please note that Klarna assesses all orders individually. The result of a previous credit application with Klarna, therefore, does not guarantee the same result during subsequent applications.

Will I be required to pay anything when I apply to Pay Over Time with Klarna?

You might be prompted to make a deposit during the application flow.

If I purchase with a financing plan, will I pay more?

The 0% interest free offer means that you won’t have to pay any additional fees for the purchase. 

Will I receive communications from Klarna after my order is placed?

If you selected the Klarna "Pay Over Time” payment method, Klarna will send you an email with your payment plan details. The email will contain a link to Klarna’s online portal or to download the app, where you can view and manage your purchases with Klarna. 

I want to set up automatic monthly payments, how can I do this?

During the Klarna Financing application, you will be asked to set up a Direct Debit Mandate from your debit card. Klarna will draw your monthly instalments from your debit card automatically via this Direct Debit Mandate so you don’t need to do anything. For more information, you can check Klarna T&Cs 

What happens if I cancel my order?

For a purchase on TAG Heuer website:


Cancellations are subject to TAG Heuer’s cancellation policy. To cancel your order, please contact TAG Heuer customer service.


Once TAG Heuer has confirmed the cancellation, Klarna will update your payments accordingly as well as refund any amounts due. You can check the status of your payments anytime in your Klarna app.


The Terms and Conditions of Klarna apply to your order when you have purchased with Klarna Financing. You also have a right under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 to withdraw from your Financing agreement within 14 days without having to give any reason. Please refer to the 'Right of withdrawal' section within your agreement for more details.


For a purchase on TAG Heuer boutique:


No order cancellation is possible in a TAG Heuer boutique.


However, you have the possibility to return your order. Return conditions are available at the back of TAG Heuer invoice.


You will be able to withdraw from your Financing agreement within the time limit specified on your invoice on the condition that the purchased product is returned in a TAG Heuer boutique of the same country, the product has not been used or damaged, and is still in its original packaging.


The Boutique Member will deliver you a proof of return and you should be refunded within 5-7 opened days or so by Klarna or the amount already paid.

How long do refunds take?

For a purchase on TAG Heuer website:


Your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days.


For a purchase on TAG Heuer boutique:



Your refund should be processed within around 5-7 business days.

What happens if the total amount owed is greater than the refund?

If the total amount owed is greater than the refund, the refund will be deducted from the total balance of your financing account.


If the total amount owed is less than the refund, the refund will be available as a positive balance in your Klarna account, allowing you to purchase again using your account at any participating online stores. Contact Klarna’s Customer Service complete a refund form should you instead want the refund credited to your bank account.

I purchased with a financing plan and I would like to return my order.

For a purchase on TAG Heuer website:


We want you to be completely happy with your order. Subject to certain exceptions, if for any reason you are not satisfied, we will gladly accept your return of the merchandise and our return process is simple. Please refer to TAG Heuer terms and conditions available at the back of TAG Heuer invoice.


You will be able to withdraw from your Financing agreement within the time limit specified on your invoice on the condition that the purchased product is returned in a TAG Heuer boutique of the same country, the product has not been used, and damaged and is still in its original packaging.

How do I do if I did not receive a product to my preferred delivery address or if the received product is damaged?

For a purchase on TAG Heuer website:


Please contact our Customer Care team to inform them about the issue. An investigation will start through the selected carrier and our Customer Care team will notify you accordingly.

 

For a purchase in a TAG Heuer boutique:


Please contact TAG Heuer boutique to whom you purchased the piece in order to inform them. The boutique will investigate through its selected carrier and will notify you accordingly. If the product has been lost or damaged by the carrier, TAG Heuer boutique will discuss with you about the best option for you: refund or delivery of a new piece.
